Security Camera Warning
Can people trace my Computer if I access their Video Server?
So i have an IP Address that links to the cameras at my work through a Video Server. I received a Security Warning that reads “Problem Listed Below: Do you want to install and run “http://??.??.??.???/cab/Webview.cab signed on an unknown date/time and distributed by: I-View Communication Inc.
So basically im jst wondering if i accept to download this certificate and hit yes to this security warning, would they be able to trace my computer?
Even accessing the IP at all, would they be able to trace me? How would they?

How would i be able to hide my address? Where can i go?
It depends, since it’s at work you most likely have some sort of network, and each computer has their own internal-network IP address, it wouldn’t look like an internet IP, it would look 192.168.something.something depending on your server IP and your computer’s physical IP.
Those who administrate the server will be able to tell which computer’s IP is which and which computer has accessed which files. So in a businesses network it’s pretty easy to trace back to the computer.
In the internet, it’s much more difficult to trace a person’s IP, and it would be done similar but not the same way as above, but on a massive scale and would require some illegal hacking.
