Security Door
how crucial is having a security entrance door to apartment complex in safety?
does it make a complex safer when theirs a door to be buzzed into to a particular building of units?
Buzzers, without intercoms, are actually less secure than no buzzers. Most criminals will just ring every doorbell and hope someone just buzzes them in.
The front door should be locked at all times. Any guests should be met at the front door.
Intercoms to the front door are helpful to determine if the buzz is a legitmate guest, or just another moron
I’d gladly walk down a few flights of stairs, or jump on an elevator, to let someone in if I knew that everybody else in the building has to do the same.
